These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and SIGNUMX LLC (“we,” “us”) about your use of cruciblewars.com and Crucible Wars (the game, when available), which we call the “Service.”
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
This website is informational. Features, platforms, and availability can change. Nothing here promises a ship date.
When the game is available through an app store, that store’s terms also apply to download and purchase.
2. License to use the Service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial entertainment (and to browse this site), as long as you follow these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit our games, art, branding, or site content except as allowed by law or a written license from us
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract source code from the game except where applicable law expressly allows it
- Cheat, hack, bot, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or disrupt servers or other players
- Harass others, scrape private data, or use the Service for spam or illegal activity
- Pretend to be SIGNUMX LLC or another person or company
3. Accounts (when available)
If we add accounts, you are responsible for keeping login details safe and for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account was compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or create risk for other players.
4. Intellectual property
Crucible Wars, including game content, art, logos, text, and branding, is owned by SIGNUMX LLC or used under license. Third-party assets (for example Tiny Swords art or Godot Engine) remain under their own licenses; see Credits.
Feedback you send us (ideas, bug reports, suggestions) may be used by us without obligation to pay or credit you. Do not send anything you do not want us to use.
5. User conduct
Be decent. Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other players or our team. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content. We may remove content or restrict access when we believe these Terms or the law require it.
6. Virtual items and purchases (when available)
If we later sell optional in-game items or currency, those purchases are licensed to you for use in the game, not owned as real-world property. Pricing and availability can change. Refunds follow the rules of the platform you bought through (Apple, Google, etc.) and applicable law. We do not invent monetization details here; none are live yet.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Some places do not allow certain disclaimer language. If that is you, some of the above may not apply to the extent required by local law.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNUMX LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ZERO IF YOU PAID US NOTHING. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in that case they apply only as far as the law allows.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or stop offering part or all of the Service, including inactive or abusive accounts. If we discontinue the game, we are not required to provide refunds beyond what applicable law or a platform requires.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SIGNUMX LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, subject to those mandatory protections.
