This Privacy Policy explains how SIGNUMX LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information for the Crucible Wars website (cruciblewars.com) and, when it is available, the Crucible Wars game (together, the “Service”).
We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use after that date means the new policy applies.

The data we collect
What we collect depends on how you use the Service.
Information you give us
- Email and message content. If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
- Account or profile data (when the game ships). If we add accounts or multiplayer login, we may collect the details needed to run that feature (for example a display name or login identifier). We will update this policy before that launches if practices change in a material way.
Information collected automatically
- Website technical logs. Our host (currently Cloudflare Pages or similar) may log IP address, browser/user agent, timestamps, and request metadata for security and reliability. We do not run a separate marketing analytics suite on this site today.
- Gameplay or device data (when the game ships). Multiplayer games often need limited technical data to sync matches, prevent abuse, and fix bugs (for example device type/OS, crash logs, or match metadata). We will describe those practices here when they exist. We are not inventing store analytics or ad IDs we do not use.
Information from third parties
If you download Crucible Wars through Apple App Store, Google Play, or a similar store, that platform may collect and process data under its own privacy policy. We do not control store analytics or billing systems run solely by those platforms.
Why we use your data
- To reply to support, press, or business email
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and (when available) the game
- To provide multiplayer or account features once they exist
- To meet legal, tax, or platform requirements when they apply
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Who can see your data
- Service providers. Hosting and email infrastructure process data as needed to deliver those services (for example Cloudflare for the site). They act on our instructions for that purpose.
- Platforms. App stores process download and purchase data under their policies.
- Legal requests. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SIGNUMX LLC, our players, or others.
How long we keep data
Email you send us is kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and for ordinary business records, then deleted or archived according to our practices. Hosting logs are retained according to the host’s defaults unless we configure a shorter window. When game accounts exist, we will keep account and match data while the account is active and as needed to provide the Service, prevent abuse, or meet legal duties.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond in a reasonable time. We may need to verify it is you before we act on a request.
You can stop emailing us at any time. Unsubscribing from future marketing email (if we ever send any) will be available in those messages; we do not run a marketing list from this site today.
Children
Crucible Wars is meant to be approachable for kids and adults: no gore, no demonic spectacle. This website does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. When the game is live, we will follow applicable kids’ privacy rules for the platforms we ship on.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public site is mostly static. Our host may set cookies or similar technologies that are strictly useful for security, load balancing, or basic operation. We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral ad networks on cruciblewars.com.
International visitors
We are a small U.S. company. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or wherever our host and email providers operate. We take ordinary steps to keep that processing appropriate for a small informational site and (later) a mobile game.
Changes
We may revise this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For a material change that affects how we handle personal information in a significant way, we will take additional steps that fit the situation (for example a notice on the site).
